It Began With a Little Car
and a Big Idea.
It started simply enough. A child. A ride-on car. A name that needed to go on a plate. What began as a one-off project quickly turned into something bigger - parents asking if we could make one for their child too. Then their neighbour's child. Then the whole nursery group.
We started as Tiny Tyres, making personalised number plates for kids' ride-on cars from our workshop in Middlesbrough. Word spread quietly but steadily - through mums' Facebook groups, WhatsApp threads, and the kind of organic sharing that only happens when something genuinely delights people.
Five thousand orders later, we knew this was more than a side project. So we did what felt right. We invested in better equipment, expanded the product range, and built something we could be properly proud of.
