How do i personalise my order?
It's quick and easy! Simply choose your product, then enter the name or text you'd like on the product in the personalisation field on the product page. You'll be able to preview your design before adding it to your cart — so you know exactly how it'll look before we make it.
Is there a character limit for the name or text?
For number plates, shorter names and text work best — typically up to 7 characters, just like a real UK number plate, we can accommodate more characters, but the text will be smaller. For weaning sets, we can usually fit a little more. If you're unsure whether your text will fit, just drop us a message at info@tinytinklet.co.uk and we'll let you know!
Can i change my order after i’ve placed it?
Because all of our products are made to order, we start work quickly — so please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change. Email us at info@tinytinklet.co.uk and we'll do our best to help. We can't guarantee changes once production has started, so the sooner you get in touch, the better.
Can i order as a gift and have it sent directly to someone else?
Absolutely — our products make brilliant birthday and Christmas gifts! Just enter the recipient's delivery address at checkout. If you'd like to include a personal note, leave a message in the order notes and we'll tuck it inside the package for you.

Will the number plate fit my child’s ride-on car?
Our plates are designed to fit a wide range of kids' ride-on cars, including electric ride-ons from Smyths Toys, quad bikes, mobility scooters, and more. We also have dedicated plate sets specifically sized and shaped for the Little Tikes Cosy Coupe. If you're not sure which plate fits your car, drop us a message and we'll point you in the right direction.
How are the number plates attached to the car?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
What material are the plates made from? Are they durable?
Our number plates are 3D printed right here in our studio in Middlesbrough. We use high-quality materials chosen for durability and safety, so they can stand up to the enthusiastic play of toddlers! Customers regularly comment on how solid and well-made they feel - not flimsy at all. Every plate is made to order specifically for you.
Are the bamboo weaning sets safe for babies?
Yes! Our bamboo weaning sets are made from natural bamboo and are free from BPA and harmful chemicals, making them a great choice for babies and toddlers. We recommend hand washing to keep the personalisation looking its best, rather than putting them in the dishwasher.
Delivery & Shipping
How long does delivery take?
Our average delivery time is 2–4 working days from the date of order. Because each item is made to order, we need a little time to print and personalise your gift before shipping. Many customers receive their orders even sooner - and reviews often praise how quickly orders arrive!
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free UK delivery on orders over £30. For orders under £30, a small shipping fee applies - this will be shown clearly at checkout before you pay.
Do you ship outside the UK?
We are primarily a UK-based shop and our standard shipping covers mainland UK. If you're based outside the UK and are interested in placing an order, please get in touch at info@tinytinklet.co.uk and we'll see what we can do for you.
Issues & Returns
Can i return a personalised item?
Because our products are made to order and personalised specifically for you, we're unable to accept returns simply due to a change of mind. However, if your item arrives damaged or there's an error on our part, we'll always put it right. Just contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with a photo and we'll sort it out for you.
My item arrived damaged - what should i do?
We're really sorry to hear that! Please email us at info@tinytinklet.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the damage, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund for you as quickly as possible.
What if the plate doesn’t fit my car?
We want you to be completely happy with your order. If a plate doesn't fit your specific car, get in touch and we'll do our best to help - whether that's advising on fitting, or working out the right product for your car model. We'd always recommend checking the product description carefully before ordering, and feel free to message us if you're unsure which plate is right for you.

Everything is designed, printed, and packed in our workshop in Middlesbrough, North East England. When you buy from us, you're supporting a genuinely small British business.
Do you sell on Etsy?
Yes! You can find us on Etsy under the shop name TinyTyres — that's where it all began. Our website at tinytinklet.co.uk is our new home, offering the same great products with a few extra features like our live preview tool. Ordering directly from our website also helps us as a small business, as we keep more of each sale.
